NHT Bills of Lading Reduction Phase!

New BOL Procedure: READ CAREFULLY

Now that Vector is up and running, we are adding the next phase; removing the NHT BOL and adding our new Weigh Ticket Form. Please read carefully and take a picture so you have reference. It will also be posted.

*The ONLY time you will use the NHT BOL is when the shipper doesn't have their own or if a signature is required for In-Out times.

PICK-UP DRIVER:

- Receive paperwork from shipper (if they don't have their own, use a NHT BOL)

- Write the NHT order# on top of the first page

- If you scale the load, use the weigh ticket pad.

- Attach the paperwork together and hand it in to the office.

DELIVERY DRIVER:

- Receives paperwork

- If you scale the load, use the weigh ticket pad.

- Get all pages of the customer (or NHT if applicable) BOL's signed.

- *SEND ALL PAGES THROUGH VECTOR* (except weight tickets)

- Put all paperwork in your envelope and hand in upon return

*For In-Out times, there is a macro on the IVG for you to use. If the customer needs to sign off on it, use an NHT BOL for it. Dispatch will notify you if this is necessary

The weigh ticket pads will be in the drivers room, please take only one at a time.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation with this. It's new so we may be making changes along the way.

Vector Mobile. It turns the powerful camera in your device into a document scanner!

We are currently in Phase 1. Signing up and implementation.

We are scanning completed Bills of Lading. (After consignee signs or agrees to accept shipment.)

Load Pics. When picking up loads please take some pictures proving the condition it is in when loaded and proof of securement, and covering.

Updated Company Policies as of October 6th 2020

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

As we continue through Covid and in an effort to add more layers of safety to the Company without
excluding anyone we are making the following changes effective immediately.

The front door entrance to the building will be locked 24 hours a day and only employees with access cards will be able to gain entry
The door to the Shop/Training Room hallway will also be locked 24 hours. These are both being done to eliminate public access to our facility
Masks will be required in the shop, wash bay, and all warehouses by all non-shop personnel. This includes drivers, contractors, and suppliers. Office employees are exempt from this, just as shop employees are exempt from wearing masks in the Corporate office.
Masks are also required by all drivers and visitors in the Corporate office and are recommended in the drivers room
When in the shop, please observe the yellow lines and maintain 6 social distancing at all times
When in the drivers room, please maintain social distancing and do not overcrowd that room please.

These guidelines are consistent with the recommendations of MB Health and will constantly be reviewed and updated as required.

I have been testing this app for some time now with a few drivers.

It is now time to roll it out to anyone who needs to fax, and has data/wifi available on their phone.

This is not a requirement, but I am hoping this will save you as a driver time, and the company money.

It is called Metro Fax. It is available via the App Store for iPhone, and Google Play for Android.
